The North Branford Public School System is making Nettrekker, a valuable teacher- and student- friendly resource, available to all students and teachers. NetTrekker is an easy-to-use database/search tool that allows K-12 students, parents, and educators to connect to over 300,000 educator-approved online resources. The tool offers resources that have been screened and hand-selected by expert educators to keep every search safe, focused, age-appropriate, and academically relevant every time. Users can search and classify resources according to keywords, timeline dates, images, subject, reading level, grade, media type, state standards and more. NetTrekker connects teachers and students to a wealth of standards-aligned digital resources and technology tools specifically designed for engaging students in a learning experience that supports their unique needs. Personalized learning tools include Read-Aloud support, customized content for ELL/ESL and a powerful Dictionary/Translation Hot Key.
